In 2015 Orelenergo spent 86.4 million rubles to implement its repair program

02.11.2015

IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division completed the preparation for the autumn-winter peak loads. To ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers during the cold season, the company implemented a large-scale repair program totalling 89.5 million rubles.

As a rule, the priority in the formation of the repair program is given to facilities, the most problematic in terms of reliability. The program this year included four 110/35/10 kV substations, which supply electricity to consumers living in Orelsky, Mtsensky, Kromsky and Zalegoschensky districts of the Orel region. Comprehensive repair was carried out at these power facilities. Element-by-element repairs took place at 94 substations of this voltage class. In 2015 experts of Orelenergo also renovated more than 950 km of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines. In order to prevent trees falling onto power lines 598 hectares of ROWs of high-voltage lines were cleared from tree and shrub vegetation.

To reduce the risk of injury to the public the power company within the program "Replacing the bare wire with insulated" replaced more than 1,100 leads-in of 0.4 kV in apartment houses.

"Orelenergo performed extensive work and is fully ready for the season of maximum loads. In 2016 we plan to increase the amount of funding of the repair program that will ensure the reliability of supply and quality of electric power transmission services in those areas that were not covered by the repairs this year," stresses First Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division director Andrey Dudin.
