IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division summed up settlements for 7 months of 2015 with consumers for electricity transmission services rendered by the grid company. The actual value of the outstanding receivables as at 01.08.2015 is 2.12 billion rubles (including the debt of the former supplier of last resort OJSC "Smolenskenergobyt" in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles, whose collection is being performed in the framework of bankruptcy proceedings). During the reporting period arrears of consumers increased by 31.5 million rubles.
As part of the activities with non-payers IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division does claim-related work. So, now courts in different instances are considering claims in the amount of 121.73 million rubles, including the recovery of interest on borrowed funds in the amount of 15.23 million rubles.
In addition, Smolenskenergo actively works on debt collection in collaboration with the regional authorities. Issues of payment for the transmission of electricity are regularly reviewed in the framework of a regional commission to work out a policy of redemption and restructuring of the debt for previously consumed fuel and energy resources under the Administration of the Smolensk Region. At meetings of the commission defaulters are heard, specific dates and repayment schedules of accumulated debt are set for them.
Smolenskenergo urges those who have not yet covered their arrears of payment for electricity transmission services to do so in the near future.
