Kostromaenergo took part in the final game within the campaign "Safety"

In the Kostroma region a large-scale campaign "Safety" completed, in which in children’s schoolyards and country health camps a route game was conducted to teach children the basic rules of safe behaviour. One of the organizers of the action along with the General Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Office of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Kostroma Region, the regional "Rescue service, civil defense and emergency" and the regional branch of the All-Russian voluntary fire society was IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division. The final game was held at the Red Hill camp, it was attended by more than 120 children aged from 7 to 15.

At five thematic route stations of the game children received information on how to act in case of any emergencies. At the organized by Kostromaenergo station "Electrical Safety" representatives of the branch explained to children the rules of behaviour near the electric current and the meaning of warning signs on power equipment. The game players were warned of dangers posed by the electric current, told why one must not run a kite near a power line, climb an electricity pole, come close to the wire of a power line and substation equipment, to enter premises of electrical installations. Methods of rendering first aid to the victim from effects of the electric current were demonstrated on the training robot-simulator named Gosha, and then the children were given the opportunity to perform a set of resuscitation measures.

 

In total, during the summer, with the participation of Kostromaenergo in urban and suburban health camps of the Kostroma region nine route games were organized, in which the station "Electrical Safety" was visited by more than a thousand children.
