31.08.2015

Leaders of "Tverenergo" took part in an expanded meeting devoted to the support of agricultural producers of the Tver region in terms of import substitution. Together with a State Duma deputy Svetlana Maximova, Minister of Agriculture of the Tver region Pavel Migulev, representatives of the Regional Energy Commission, the Regional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor, the regional Gostekhnadzor, veterinary inspection, prosecutors, financial institutions and, finally, the main event participants - farmers and managers of agricultural enterprises of the Upper Volga region, the power engineers considered options of clear partnership aimed at the development of villages of the Tver region.

During the meeting the farmers actively asked questions the power engineers related to connection to electric grids. For example, one of beginning farmers from Staritsky district was interested in the order of interaction with the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre. A representative of the power grid company explained that the relation of the energy company and the consumer begins with filing of an application for grid connection. Upon receipt of the applicant’s documents, experts of "Tverenergo" make a decision - to connect the consumer to the existing power centres and electric lines or construct new facilities that will be able to fully provide the requested capacity.

The issue of cost of services of the power grid company was also raised during the discussion. The farmers and managers of agricultural enterprises were explained that the size of the connection fee is determined by standardized tariff rates, which in turn are established by the Regional Energy Commission of the Tver region in accordance with the guidelines approved by the federal executive authority in the field of regulation of tariffs.

"End of August is a hot time for agricultural producers and power engineers, but a reason to break away from the business was very significant," commented on the results of the meeting Mikhail Pilavov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director. "At the time when our country has a strict policy of internal development and support of local producers, mutual interest and checking our positions on the most pressing issues among government agencies, businesses and natural monopolies are very important."
