Operating results for 1Q and setting goals for the subsequent periods of the year were the main theme of the meeting with heads of sections held early June in Borisoglebsk by First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division Pavel Yanshin. The event was also attended by heads of technical departments of Voronezhenergo, who reported on the results of their activities.
"In January - March the engineers of the occupational safety and production control Office conducted 1,844 unannounced inspections, which resulted in non-compliance with safety, one crew of a contractor was suspended to perform work. In general, all the units of the branch in 1Q deserve "good", " informed the head of the Office Natalia Stolpovskikh. She also said that in the near future Voronezhenergo, in connection with the entry into force of the Order of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, will be put into effect a new order of organization of work at height. In preparation for the work according to the new rules experts of the occupational safety and production control Office implemented a number of organizational and technical measures, including a few training sessions for staff held at the training centre.
The head of corporate and technological automated control systems Office Anatoly Pakhomov announced a number of technical innovations that will soon be implemented in the branch. This, in particular, videoconferencing with all Distribution Zones, equipment with stationary cameras at the main points of interacting with consumers in Voronezh, Borisoglebsk, Kalach and Liski, implementation of advanced IT-protection systems.
The head of the power lines service Andrey Yartsev and head of the substations service Vladimir Kalinovski in their speeches outlined the general problem of the need to upgrade the existing fleet of specialized equipment.
The meeting also addressed the issue of optimization of consumption of fuel and lubricants. Pavel Yanshin demanded the heads of services and section to have a more careful approach to the planning of work in order to avoid cost overruns of fuel limits.
In conclusion of the meeting Chief Engineer announced the results of benchmarking for the 1st quarter of this year. The best production units became Kalacheevsky section of the power lines service with the score of 4.54 points out of 5 possible and Borisoglebsky section of the substation service with 3.98 points.
The meeting resulted in a set of measures to further improve the production activities. In particular, it was decided to continue work on the regular training and retraining of personnel.
