IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division conducts systematic work to ensure the quality of supplied electricity to consumers. All technical services of the company were brought to it. The effectiveness of the efforts of the power engineers is indicated by a 30 percent decline in the Voronezh region in 2014 of the number of complaints on the quality of electricity. In 2015 this trend continues to persist.
The Electricity Quality Management System developed by specialists of IDGC of Centre helps be proactive. So, in the procedure of connection to the grid of the branch staff of Voronezhenergo carries out the necessary analysis of networks at the connection point for compliance to the parameters of quality of electric energy.
Particular attention is paid by the branch to periodic monitoring, which allows to identify and quickly address potential inconsistencies in power quality. In 2014 Voronezhenergo developed and successfully implemented in Distribution Zones 377 activities aimed to improve them. Condition of equipment and networks directly affects the power quality. Last year, experts of Voronezhenergo repaired more than 670 substations of 10/0.4 kV and 1,002 km of overhead power lines of 10/0.4 kV, in the networks of this voltage class 394 km of wire, 3,935 poles and 167 transformers were replaced. Emphasis was placed on the facilities, where defects were identified affecting the performance of the equipment and for which the largest number of complaints was received. Work performed allowed to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply to customers.
In 2014 the branch successfully passed the certification procedure of electric energy to meet the set requirements. In addition, Voronezhenergo annually confirms its certificates during the inspection control of certified electric power, which is evidence of the effectiveness of the measures and the result of the successful implementation by the branch of the "Policy of IDGC of Centre in the field of quality".
