In Shebekinsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division a new repair and production depot opened. Optimal conditions of work and rest were created for 148 employees of the subdivision that provide reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers of the district.
The old building of the depot of the 1970s construction no longer met the sanitary requirements for the location of personnel, motor transport, storage of equipment and materials. To ensure the normal functioning of the customer service office and transportation service, the branch had to rent additional space and for solving production problems in this or that particular area of the district large special vehicles each time had to cross the city centre.
The new depot is located at the address: Shebekino, Kharkivskaya Street, 78 (the terminal stop of public transport). Its area is about 1,500 square metres. In addition to the modern administrative building with well equipped rooms, the facility includes a room as a workshop, storage of materials and operational emergency reserve, insulated garage boxes, which freely accommodate 27 motor vehicles. The customer service office also moved there to receive clients on various emerging issues.
According to Chief of Shebekinsky Distribution Zone Andrey Abrosimov, employees of the Distribution Zone now have everything they need: separate rooms for everyday needs, rooms for meals, washing clothes, showers and a small gym. The building has new furniture, household and office equipment, a modern heating system, air-conditioning and automatic fire extinguishing.
The administrative and household building was constructed using energy-efficient technologies and materials. There modern economical indoor and outdoor lighting was installed. The district control centre is equipped with data communications with all 35-110 kV substations, located on the territory of Shebekinsky district, direct communication to the Grid Control Centre of Belgorodenergo, first responding and maintenance crews. The direct channel of communication with the Unified duty and dispatch service of the regional EMERCOM was organized. For effective management of power facilities an operational and information complex is used. In case of power failure from the main network a diesel generator with its power of 40 kW will provide automatic backup power to the District Control Centre, remote control, communications, and the security alarm system.
For working out practical skills operation and maintenance of electric equipment a training centre was built with a training 10/0.4 kV substation, a dummy facade of a residential building, poles and other equipment.
Opening the new depot, Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division director Sergey Demidov thanked Shebekinsky power engineers and representatives of contractors for their contribution to the construction of the depot and wished the staff comfortable and trouble-free operation.
