IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division, maintaining the tradition of labour education of young people, contributes to the revival of students’ crew movement in the domestic electric grid complex. The second summer in a row the branch will organize a students’ crew. Like a year ago, it will be composed of students of specialized disciplines of Orel State Agrarian University (Orel SAU).
In the summer of 2014, during the first students’ crew season s, fighters of the students’ crew "Networker" from Orel SAU worked at facilities of Orlovsky Distribution Zone of Orelenergo. During the work the young people gained new knowledge and practical experience. The most talented students received offers for practical training, defending their graduation projects and further employment at Orelenergo.
This summer Orelenergo will once again organize the same name students’ crew, which will include senior students of electric power specialties of Orel SAU. Young people will participate in the scheduled inspection of transformer substations, power lines rounds, electricity meter readings, repair of energy facilities, etc. The students’ crew "Networker" will start working at the beginning of July and the labour semester will end by the new academic year.
"The main purpose of the organization of students’ crews is to provide opportunities to future power engineers to acquire practical skills in the chosen specialty, their professional orientation to work in the company. Helping students to acquire new knowledge about the future profession, we help the industry attract young, highly skilled professionals," stressed Head of Human Resources Marina Yakovenko.
