Athletics competitions within the XVI sports games of power engineers passed at IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division. The competition was attended by employees of industrial sites and the executive office of Kurskenergo.
The teams competed in the race in the 100 and 1,000 women, 100 and 3,000 metres men.
Among women under 35 an engineer of electric modes Lyudmila Kireeva ran the hundred-metre race best, over 35 - an engineer-technician of the Central diagnostic laboratory Elena Telenina. They were also the fastest in the distance of 1,000 metres.
In the men’s race in both distances the best time was shown in the category under 35 by an electrician of operation of distribution networks of Zolotukhinsky Distribution Zone Artem Mikhailov, over 35 - an electrician of the substation service of the Central section Vladimir Bocharov.
"The team standing was won by athletes of the Central section, the second place - athletes from the Eastern section, and the third place of the podium was taken by the team of the Western section," commented the results of the competitions Chairman of the Trade Union of Kurskenergo Nikolay Kalinin.
Presenting the awards to the winners, Head of Human Resources of Kurskenero Lyudmila Mokrousova stressed that mass sports, which the company pays great attention to, not only benefits the health, promotes a healthy lifestyle, but also creates a uniform corporate culture of IDGC of Centre.
On the eve of the Power Engineers’ Day within the XVI Sports Games of Kurskenergo there will be competition held in mini-football, volleyball, chess, table tennis and kettlebell lifting.
And the winners of the athletics competitions in the near future will go to defend the honour of Kurskenergo at the Sports Games of IDGC of Centre.
