IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division under the investment program continues reconstruction of power facilities in settlements of the Orel region. Work is carried out to improve the reliability of power supply to customers and reduce the number of power interruptions.
Large volume of work is scheduled in the settlements of Olkhovets, Ovsyannikovo, Lezhenky and Mostky. They are uninstalling overhead lines of 0.4kV and 10 kV, which are in poor technical condition and have a high degree of wear, and construct new lines and transformer substations there. In total, it is planned to construct new package transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, install 0.73 km of 10 kV lines and 11.3 km of 0.4 kV lines, uninstall the old equipment and poles of overhead lines.
Now experts of Orelenergo have replaced four old and installed two new package transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, reconstructed 11.32 km of 0.4 kV overhead lines. Work is underway to switch customers to the reconstructed 0.4 kV overhead lines, to unstill old equipment. The work is planned to be completed in the second quarter 2015.
"The reconstruction of overhead power lines will reduce the number of power interruptions, improve power quality, which ultimately will greatly enhance the reliability of electricity supply to customers," underlines Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division Igor Kolubanov.
