On the site of Michurinsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division there was a review of constant readiness of the territorial subsystem of the Unified State System of Emergency Management of the Tambov region (the System), located on the territory of Michurinsky and Nikiforovsky districts. The purpose of the show was to check the status and readiness assessment of forces and resources within the territorial subsystem of the System to emergency situations caused by spring floods. Power engineers, rescuers, ambulance staff, emergency gas service and others participated in it.
The activities were headed by Deputy Head of General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region - Head of the Civil Protection Colonel Oleg Ushakov, in charge of the protection, monitoring and prevention of emergency situations.
Tambovenergo presented at the review the forces and means belonging to the site facility of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division of the Ministry of Energy of Russia in the System: crews of Michurinsky Distribution Zone for repair of substation equipment and power lines of 35-110 kV; for switching devices operation; and first responding mobile crews. They were headed by Chief of Michurinsky Distribution Zone Sergey Zelenev. There specialized equipment and backup power supply sources were also displayed.
Deputy Head of General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region - Head of the Civil Protection Colonel Oleg Ushakov appreciated the high level of readiness of the forces and means of Michurinsky and Nikiforovsky Distribution Zones to operate through floods in 2015. And availability of power engineers received proper assessment as well.
