03.02.2015

As part of the January charity event specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division travelled to the social rehabilitation centre for minors "Hope" in Rameshkovsky district of the Tver region.

This social institution cares for children who find themselves in a difficult life situation and undergoing rehabilitation. Any support is very important for these young people. At present, there are around 20 children aged 3 to 18 years living.

Having acquainted with the pupils of the centre and congratulated them on the past New Year holidays, employees of Tverenergo told the children about the importance of the work of power engineers and the need to respect the rules of electrical safety. There was a master class for the young people to assist a person with electric shock, in which the role of the victim was assigned to a training simulator "Gosha". Both the kids and teenagers had the opportunity to try their hand in first aid, as well as in practice to consolidate the basic skills to save the man. At the end of the lesson all the pupils were presented with colouring books of Vyacheslav Kolesnik "Energolandiya", which in an exciting form familiarizes with safe handling of electricity, as well as colourful timetables and sweets.

Head of Public Relations of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division Maya Silantyeva stressed: "Helping orphans is not a single action in the past year, Tver power engineers visited several orphanages and social institutions with electrical safety lessons. Social care, as embodied in the care of children, should be a moral norm for each of us. Taking care of the safety of children - we care about their future."
