IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division confirmed its status as one of the sportiest companies in the region. By the end of 2014 Voronezhenergo’s team won the Sports Games of labour collectives of the Voronezh region. The power engineers excelled in these prestigious competitions for the third time in the last six years: previously the branch there sought success in 2009 and 2011.
The organizer of the Games was the Office of Physical Culture and Sports of the Voronezh region and territorial associations of trade union organizations "Voronezh Regional Council of Trade Unions". 
Teams representing labour groups of large companies in the region participated in them: Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Company, Vodokanal, Voronezhsintezkauchuk, Voronezh Mechanical Plant, Chemical Automatics Design Bureau (KBKhA), Concern "Constellation", Novovoronezh NPP, etc. Voronezhenergo’s representatives were the best in 4 out of 10 disciplines in which competitions were held: athletics, swimming, tug of war and arm wrestling. The team of the branch also won the second place in the volleyball competition.
The victory of the Voronezh power engineers was distinguished with a cup and a certificate of merit of the Office of Physical Culture and Sports of the Voronezh region, and a certificate of merit of the Regional Council of Trade Unions.

We have conducted work on the development of physical culture and promotion of a healthy lifestyle systematically, over many years," stresses Chairman of the primary trade union organization of Voronezhenergo Evgeny Pronyaev.
