Voronezhenergo performs its 2014 repair program in excess of the targets

IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division summed up the preliminary results of the implementation of the repair program for 11 months in 2014. All activities stipulated in this document have been made in full, and, for a number of them the power engineers managed to achieve over-fulfillment of the indicators of the annual plan.

For the specified period specialists of the branch repaired 578.56 km of overhead lines (Conductors) of 35-110 kV and 981.29 km overhead lines of 10-0.4 kV. In terms of the latter the annual plan of the repair program was performed exceeding in nine Distribution Zones: Nizhnedevitsky, Novousmansky, Ostrogozhsky, Ramonsky, Verkhnemamonsky, Verkhnekhavsky, Kalacheevsky, Podgorensky and Povorinsky. Comprehensive overhauls were carried out in eight 35-110 kV substations. And also - in 669 transformer substations (TS) and distribution points, which is higher than the annual plan by 26%.

In order to prevent interruptions of overhead lines due to the overlap of wild undergrowth and trees falling on wires, the power engineers cleared 1,736.3 hectares of ROWs along power lines (the plan for 11 months was exceeded by 4%). ROWs of overhead lines were expanded to standard indicators in an area of 426.4 hectares. In addition, the branch for the first time performed chemical treatment of cleared areas to curb the growth of trees.

"Conducting qualitative and timely repair of power facilities allows to reduce grid losses, ensure the reliability and safety of electricity delivery, secure stable functioning of the electric grid complex during the period of peak loads," stresses Chief Engineer of Voronezhenergo Sergey Demidov.
