For 10 months in 2014 IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division spent 178.7 million rubles to implement measures to repair electrical equipment and electrical networks.
76.7 million rubles were spent to repair 0.4-110 kV cables and overhead power lines, 51.11 million rubles were used to repair 6-110 kV substations. 50.8 million rubles were directed to maintain vehicles, buildings and structures, supervisory process control means, instrumentation, relay protection and automation in the current period.
Smolenskenergo’s specialists in the period from January to October repaired 1,991.4 km of 35-110 kV power lines, 1,291.12 km of 0.4-10 kV lines and 600 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. During this period 6,894 insulators were replaced on 35-110 kV overhead lines, 1,606 insulators on 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and 4,109 poles were replaced. In addition, comprehensive repair of 21 substations of 35-110 kV was performed, the most significant of which is the 110/35/10 kV "Russia", 110/35/6 kV "Pronino" and 110/35/6 kV "Roslavl".
Special attention in the implementation of the repair program in 2014 is paid to clearing and extension of ROWs. To avoid cases of equipment interruption for 10 months of the year 1,568.25 hectares of ROWs along 6-110 kV power lines were cleared of trees and overgrown bushes. The extension of the ROWs of 6-110 kV overhead lines was performed in the amount of 591.62 hectares.
On 24.09.2014 the branch received its certificate of readiness for the autumn-winter 2014/2015 operation period.
