Lipetskenergo summed up the week of electrical safety

09.10.2014

During the week of electrical safety, which started at IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division in September 2014, power engineers organized thematic meetings with first-graders in all districts of the Lipetsk region.

The main objective of these meetings is to remind schoolchildren and teachers to follow electrical rules and behaviour in the vicinity of power facilities.

During the lessons the company's specialists told the children why they need electricity, how to deal with electrical appliances, how to behave during a thunderstorm, why they must stay away from dangling wires and electrical warning signs. The lessons were accompanied by demonstration of cartoons, and distribution of informational materials - posters, bookmarks and colouring books "Energolandiya". Teachers were presented with guidelines for preparing and conducting lessons on electrical safety.

Activities with children for the prevention of electrical injuries are held by power engineers throughout the year. Among them there are traditional lessons and thematic meetings, broadcasting scene videos on the most popular TV and radio channels in the region, thematic publications in print and online publications.

The most notable project this year will be a special edition of the September issue of the newspaper "The Golden Key", dedicated to electrical safety. On its pages children and their parents will learn about electrical safety in the home and in the vicinity of power facilities, will learn a lot of interesting facts about electricity, as well as be able to participate in power engineering competitions, which will determine the winner. The award ceremony will be held for young experts at the festive event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Lipetskenergo.

"I believe this competition will have a lot of participants, so we decided to organize a large celebratory event with animators, fun contests, prizes and refreshments. So do not waste your time, repeat the rules of electrical safety, read books about electricity and do not miss the special edition of "The Golden Key". Join now! ", called the children to participate in the project, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division director Alexander Konanykhin.

The program to prevent electrical injuries to party parties at facilities of IDGC of Centre aims not only to schoolchildren but also their parents. Power engineers urge adults not to leave children unattended near power facilities and to have preventive conversations about electricity handling. Sagging or dangling power lines, open doors of transformer substations, damaged poles should be reported via the single Contact Centre telephone at 8800 50 50 115 (free call).

To help parents and teachers on the web-site of IDGC of Centre at http://www.mrsk-1.ru in the "Electrical Safety" section there is an available service, using which the educational institutions located in the service area of the branch can leave their online application for a lesson on electrical safety. In this section you can find the information you need for electrical safety - visual aids, methodical guidelines, videos and photos. You may also use the above information through the community "Electrical Safety", launched by the company in the social networks: "Twitter", "Facebook" and "Vkontakte".
