On the site of the Grid Control Centre (GCC) of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division a joint meeting of specialists and operators of the GCC of the branch and operational duty mangers of the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) of the General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region was held. The participants discussed the cooperation in the framework of the existing agreement on the procedure of interaction between the GD EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region and Tambovenergo signed in 2014.
At the beginning of the meeting the delegation of EMERCOM represented by Deputy Chief of the CMC Alexey Nesvetaev and operational duty managers was acquainted with the work of the GCC, used software and hardware for operational management. A used in the GCC automated system allows on-line to control the work of power equipment and take timely action to prevent occurrence and development of emergency operation. The guests were told about the existing in the company vertically management decisions taking aimed at preventing and eliminating major technological violations, the organization of interaction of all involved in the process units.
Discussing the progress of the current agreement, the power engineers and representatives of EMERCOM raised questions of interaction during the collection and exchange of information, in particular - increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of these activities. They also spoke about the prospects of cooperation in the future.
The cooperation of the power engineers and EMERCOM is systemic. They work closely in the process of regional emergency and restoration operations, in the event of emergency situations and accidents. Besides, the parties regularly conduct joint exercises to improve the efficiency of elimination of technological disorders.
