Bryanskenergo increases its repair program implementation amount

IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for 5 months in 2014.

From the beginning of this year the branch spent over 46.7 million rubles on repair of power facilities in the Bryansk region. All planned activities were implemented in full and on time. The main focus was given on those facilities where previously defects had been detected affecting the operation of equipment and for which there were appropriate regulations of supervising bodies.

In total, from January to May 2014 specialists of the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre renovated over 334.8 kilometres of 35-110 kV overhead power lines on the main grid, a 17.2% increase compared to the same period last year. They cleared 507 hectares of ROWs along power lines — by 75.7% more than in the previous year. Early start of repair performance provided for the growth.

By the end of this year in the service area of Bryanskenergo it is planned to repair 887.7 kilometres of 35-110 kV overhead lines and 2,634.2 kilometres of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines; to clear 833.77 hectares of ROWs along power lines; to perform comprehensive repair of seven 35-110 kV substations; and to repair 691 6-10 kV transformer substations. The performed work will allow to improve the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers of the Bryansk region.

"Quality and wholly performed repair program will allow timely to prepare for the upcoming winter. Quality repair of equipment is the key to trouble-free operation, reliable operation of power equipment and uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the autumn-winter peak load period," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director Roman Stefanov. "In quarter II it is planned to spend more than 56 million rubles on repair of power facilities of the Bryansk region."
