From January to April IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division completed 105% of the planned amount for the period of the repair campaign. Repair and overhaul of equipment will be completed in October before the autumn-winter period.
For four months in 2014 Yaroslavl power engineers repaired 232.7 km of overhead lines of 110 kV to 0.4 kV and 112 transformer substations in all municipal districts of the region. To reduce the risk of technological failures and facilitate the work of the operating personnel, in the service area of Yarenergo 257.3 hectares of ROWs were cleared along power lines.
During the year specialists of the branch will repair 20 substations of the main grid and 594 transformer substations. Repair of overhead and cable lines is planned in the amount of 1,940.36 km in all voltage classes. Clearing ROWs will be performed in a total area of 1,605.4 hectares.
The main purpose of the repair campaign is qualitative preparation of the electric grid complex for the autumn-winter operation period. Plans and schedules of the repairs are based on annual analysis of the technical condition of facilities that minimizes risks of emergency situations and increases the reliability of electricity supply to consumers.
