In May of this year specialists of HR of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division traditionally participated in the annual "Recruitment forum" for students of Lipetsk State Technical University, which is the largest technical higher educational institution in the region.
Representatives of the distribution grid company told the students about the modern power industry, development prospects of the Lipetsk power system, about opportunities for professional development at Lipetskenergo, as well as the existing social programs for the staff and competitive wages.
"Taking part in such events, our goal is to attract young professionals into the industry. And I must say that it yields positive results – according to statistics, most young professionals of Lipetskenergo are graduates of Lipetsk Technical University," stressed Head of HR of Lipetskenergo Katerina Mushnikova.
Lipetskenergo has long-standing partnerships with LSTU with a tried-and-true multi-level system of interaction. In addition, the branch actively cooperates with Zadonsk College of Electrification and Automation of Agriculture. For students of the above educational institutions there is a corporate program to support gifted students, there is training in specialized targeted programs, industrial practice and externship in the workplace is organized. This approach ensures a steady inflow to the branch of qualified personnel, adapted to the needs of the enterprise and willing to work with the existing equipment.
