IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division completed electric grid connection of the largest and most modern sports facility in Michurinsky district of the Tambov region - a multi-functional stadium in the village of Zavoronezhskoye.
Construction of the multi-functional stadium began in April 2013. The total project cost was 5 million rubles, of which 60% was allocated from the federal budget. The multi-functional stadium is equipped with boards and waterproof artificial surface. In summer there will be competitions in mini-football, basketball, volleyball, and in winter it is planned to organize hockey games and public skating.
"The grid connection contract for the multi-functional stadium was concluded with the administration of the village council of Zavoronezhskoye in Michurinsky district. All the technical conditions were performed efficiently and in a short time. Tambov power engineers were happy to participate in the project that aims to develop the sport in the region, promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people," stressed the head of grid connections of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Roman Stanin.
