IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division gave awards to winners of a children's drawing contest

IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division summed up the contest of children’s drawings dedicated to the Power Engineers’ Day. The competition was held in the nominations «Magical World of heat and light» and «I’m drawing a fairy tale».

Children of employees of Tverenergo from 3 to 14 years of age presented their creativity to the jury. The contest received 100 works from 69 participants. In the drawings, made in various techniques, the younger generation expressed their ideas about energy, and also showed their artistic thinking in the free topic.

Following the results of the contest the winner in the nomination «Magical World of heat and light» in the age group of 3 to 6 was Volodya Khromov (a branch of «Tverenergosbyt»). In the age group of 7 to 9 the work of Andrey Seledtsov (Staritskiy Distribution Zone) was named the best. In the older age group the creativity of Sonya Zueva (a branch of «Tverenergosbyt») was distinguished.

Winners in the nomination «I’m drawing a fairy tale» were also noted. In the younger age group the first place was taken by Nikita Solntsev (a branch of «Tverenergosbyt»). In the middle age group, judges appreciated the work of Masha Miftakhutdinova (Executive Office of «Tverenergo»). Among the contestants from 10 to 14 the winner was Sasha Kruglov (a branch of «Tverenergosbyt»).

The judges noted the effort, brightness, personality and enthusiasm in each of the submitted works for the contest. The young participants and winners were awarded with certificates and letters of merit.

HR Director of Tverenergo Sergey Zhirkov noted: «Tver branch of IDGC of Centre conducts regular work on the development of creativity of children, encouraging them to look at the world from the inside and see in it something special and beautiful. Interests and creative initiatives laid down in childhood influence the future life, that’s why it’s so important to the development of the younger generation, their talents and abilities. Attracting workers and their families to the company’s social life, we are already making a contribution to the future of our power industry.»
