TSU thanked the Chairman of the Youth Council, Deputy Chief Engineer for Operations — Head of the Grid Control Centre of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division Vladislav Ostrik for assisting in the implementation of research projects in the field of youth policy.
Vladislav Ostrik has been in the power industry for 13 years, has the same experience in teaching at Tver State Technical University in the department «Power supply and electrical engineering » and the degree of candidate of technical sciences. He is the leader of the project «Development and implementation of scientific and technical direction of the youth policy of IDGC of Centre».
Young employees of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre also took part in the sociological study, organized by the Department of Sociology and Social Technologies of TSU together with the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the city of Tver, dedicated to issues of the youth of Tver.
«Cooperation of the branch of IDGC of Centre with the university partner contributes not only to the implementation of scientific and technological innovations in the energy sector, but also the formation of the youth active position in life, the desire for self-education and self-development, the making of creative and aesthetic growth. Educated, active people, respecting the historical past and access to cultural and spiritual values are important for the future,» stresses Vladislav Ostrik.
Tverenergo supports youth initiatives in all areas of both professional and creative activities. So in 2013 a participant of the Tver team in the Federation of Tver Trade Unions in the forum «Young pilots», held at the Training Centre of the Moscow regional trade union association was a representative of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division Elena Ivaschenko. The forum was held in order to form the union reserve personnel, training activists of the trade union movement, to inform young people about the goals and objectives of the modern trade union movement, and the formation of the youth active citizenship.
