In the Voronezh region on the initiative of the Regional Department of Utilities and Energy and IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division a working group on cooperation and resolving issues related to the development of the electric grid was created. The corresponding order of the regional housing and communal authority was issued in late November. The group, in addition to its creation initiators, includes representatives of MUP «Voronezh Gorelectroset», OJSC «VESK», a branch of OJSC «SO UES» TCC and the Office of Tariff Regulation of the region.
The newly created structure will work on a permanent basis, engaged in solving actual problems of the regional power industry. Thus, among the first issues its members will consider to synchronization of the development of grids of Voronezhenergo and MUP «Gorelectroset» in order to optimize the timing and cost of connecting customers. In addition, the new body will be engaged to develop optimal solutions for reducing the tariff burden.
Representatives of the regional government and the energy industry are confident that the new structure will work effectively. «The working group creation will give additional impetus to the successful implementation of the roadmap „Improving access to energy infrastructure“ especially in terms of reducing the grid connection time,» believes Deputy Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of the branch Sergey Demidov. «It can become a robust platform for constructive dialogue among the main subjects of the electric power industry. And representatives of the regional authorities will be guides here of the unified state policy in the field of economic relations of organizations. Ultimately, all this will work for the benefit of consumers,» underlines the head of the operating unit of the Department of Utilities and Energy Vladimir Shigin.
