Belgorodenergo is increasing the reliability of power supply of rural boilers and water intakes

25.09.2013

On the eve of the autumn -winter peak load operation IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division has increased the reliability of power supply of seven boilers that provide heat supply to schools in Stary Oskol district and a number of community facilities in the village of Proletarian of Rakityansky district of the Belgorod region.

Seven school boiler rooms in villages of Znamenka, Rogovatoye, Lapygino, Gorodische, Kotovo, Neznamovo and Ponds were provided with the second power supply source for the start of the heating season. The capacity of each is from 2 to 7 kW, so as a power supply source instead of the traditional transformer substations pole-mounted ones were used, intended for connection to networks of small engine customers up to 50 kW. Stary Oskol power engineers for this purpose constructed and reconstructed a total of about 6 kilometers of overhead lines of 10 and 0.4 kV, and replaced about a kilometer of cables and installed five modern pole-mounted transformer substations.

Reliable and uninterrupted power supply will be provide for the autumn- winter period to residents of the village of Proletarian who were previously powered for the grid of the Gotnyansky slaughterhouse. Due to the high importance of the work the staff of Rakityansky Distribution Zone promptly repowered a number of social facilities — a fire department, a sewerage pumping station, an iron removal plant and a water intake, which provides water and water removal in the village of Proletarian. The power engineers constructed a 600 m power line of 10 kV, and installed 4 new package transformer substations.

All of this will allow to start the autumn-winter period without risks and failures of equipment and to operate through the winter without problems.
