Emergency supply of Kostromaenergo has been staffed by 100%

Emergency supply of materials and equipment necessary for IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division for the autumn-winter 2013-2014 operation period has been staffed by 100 percent. The volume of the emergency reserve in terms of money is more than 25 million rubles.

The required reserve of equipment and materials is created in the branch for the elimination of emergency situations caused by natural phenomena or man-made emergencies. With its help power engineers can minimize the time of the restoration work on power lines and substations of the branch.

In the current year, following the results of the analysis and elimination of previous technological failures, the volume and range of emergency stock of materials and equipment has been expanded. So, in the autumn and winter it is especially true to have in the reserve equipment that is often damaged by natural phenomena: freezing rain, storms, icing and cold temperatures. Therefore, the emergency supply of Kostromaenergo includes 104 power transformers, 1027 insulators, 195 reinforced concrete and wooden poles, 9.9 tons of wires for 0.4-110 kV overhead lines — 222 items in total. It is also the materials, equipment and tools for the repair of 35-110 kV overhead lines, 35-110 kV substations, 0.4-10 kV distribution networks, relay protection and means of supervisory and technological control.

Some of the equipment is a centralized reserve of IDGC of Centre, stored at the branch.
