In the first half of 2013 power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division performed 902 contracts for grid connection. 798 individual residential buildings and 104 facilities of various companies of the region were connected to the company’s grid. One of the largest facilities of the grid connection — electrical installations of utility networks of OJSC «Oreloblenergo», a power facility to supply a residential development site in the Orel region, as well as a transformer substation for the industrial company Region plus. Compared to the same period last year, the number of executed contracts increased by 46.2%.
Specialists of the company associate the positive dynamics with the implementation of the regional target program «Development of individual low-rise construction in the Orel region».
In addition, the increase in the indicators is contributed by the development of the additional service of Orelenergo for maintenance of grid connection contracts. As part of this service Orel power engineers take on the implementation of the grid connection procedure as «turnkey», including performing work related to the competence of the customer. These include: the preparation of technical and project documentation, its coordination with the third-party organizations, performance of construction and installation work on the part of the customer. Implementation of all these activities by qualified specialists of one organization significantly reduces the term execution of contracts.
Overall, for six months of 2013 the branch received 1165 requests for grid connection for a total capacity of 45.7 MW. To date 859 contracts for grid connection have been signed.
