IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division in the first half of 2013 has fully implemented the planned investment program, having spent around 464.87 million rubles on its development. During this period, 252 kilometres of power lines of different voltage levels were put in operation, and power facilities with a total capacity of 21 MVA were renovated and constructed.
The branch spent about 289 million rubles on the modernization and reconstruction of power facilities. One of the largest and most important projects was the reconstruction of the 35 kV overhead power line Red — Kryukovo, Merlino — Kryukovo, which significantly improved the reliability of electricity supply to residents of Krasninsky district. There was also a reconstruction of a 35-110 kV overhead power line with extension of ROWs, as well as a 10 kV cable line was reconstructed, which will significantly increase the quality of the transmission of electricity in Vyazma of the Smolensk region.
In the first half of the year the power engineers of Smolenskenergo completed the reconstruction of the grid of an equestrian school in the settlement of Odintsovo, constructed a cable line and a transformer substation to power the Smolensk Regional Puppet Theatre after D. P. Svetilnikov.
According to the program of preparation for the celebration of the 1150th anniversary of the city of Smolensk during the reporting period, the construction of a transformer substation TS-10/0.4 kV and an overhead power line from the substation «Chernushki» for the grid connection of the State Archive of the Smolensk region was completed.
The investment program implementation is aimed at providing reliable and quality power supply to consumers in the region, increasing the availability of power grid infrastructure for rapid socio-economic development of the Smolensk region.
