Quality is above all!

29.07.2013

Specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electric power of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division summed up the metrological support of production for the 1st half of 2013. During the given period the metrological service of the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre calibrated 617 operating measuring devices, organized verification of 836 operating measuring devices, of which 176 are commercial electricity meters, 215 current transformers, 28 voltage transformers and other measuring devices. For the period they measured the power quality at 202 check points. Also the Bryansk power engineers repeatedly performed checks on applications for non-compliance with the electric power quality from consumers.

This work enables professionals of the department of metrology and quality of electric power of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division to continuously monitor quality of electricity supplied to consumers. If needed to develop preventive and corrective measures to bring the performance in compliance with the requirements of regulations — to reconstruct grids, increase the conductor cross-section, regulate the voltage level, to redistribute loads and others.

According to the head of the department of metrology and quality of electric power of relay protection, automation, measurement and metrology service — Chief Metrologist of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Artyom Luzik, the objective of the metrological service is to ensure unity and accuracy in transmission and distribution of electricity. Used in Bryanskenergo modern devices allow to obtain reliable measurements with commercial and technical power metering, thus increasing energy efficiency.
