Tambov power engineers of IDGC of Centre performed voluntary Saturday work

On the eve of May Day Tambov power engineers of IDGC of Centre took part in the traditional spring clean-up. More than one hundred employees of the Executive Office joined the action on the city improvement, and went on cleaning up the production premises in Morshansky highway.

The Youth Council and Veteran Organization of Tambovenergo actively participated in the voluntary Saturday work. Equipped with shovels, rakes and buckets the power engineers with labour enthusiasm removed the debris accumulated over the winter, whitewashed trees, painted curbs and fencing around the enterprise.

«Such actions to clean-up will be held in all 17 Distribution Zones, as well as in premises near power facilities of the branch,» stressed the head of the administration office of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division Andrey Remizov. «This year the power engineers will also beatify the area around the memorial to the fallen soldiers in the village of Kovyilka in Kirsanovsky district and the park area in the village of Stenshino in Petrovsky district, on the site of a former family estate of the bulb inventor Alexander Lodygina.»
