IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division and the Belgorod regional branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia together with the region’s energy companies have announced a contest «Energy of Belgorod in the mirror of mass media — 2013».
The contest has been held for thirteen years, and the main objective remains a comprehensive and objective coverage in the region's media of all aspects of industrial and social activities of energy companies.
Staff of print media, editorial staff, reporters of TV and radio broadcasting companies, reporters of news agencies may take part in the contest.
The contest commission will assess the creative work of journalists in the following categories: «For the best material for electrical safety», «For the best material on energy efficiency and new technologies implementation», «For the best project in the media about energy», «For a number of publications about workers of power industry», «For the best creative solution to highlight energy issues», «For forming a positive opinion of the power system operation in the region», «For the social aspect and the relevance of publications on energy», «For raising public awareness of energy», «For a series of articles in regional, city and district media about energy », «For a series of reports on TV and the news agency on energy issues». The jury will pay attention to the urgency of the subject of publications, professionalism, objectivity and depth of the topic, analytical approach to information and the artistic quality of materials.
