Staff of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division held a visiting round table on the issue of maintenance and development of outdoor lighting networks. Heads of thirteen municipalities of Inzhavinsky district of the Tambov region were invited to the meeting.
Head of marketing and value added services of Tambovenergo Vera Strygina told the audience about the range of services provided. The most popular services of the company are the construction, upgrading and maintenance of outdoor lighting networks, as well as operational and technological management of 0.4-110 kV power grid.
The heads of rural communities, present at the round table, were particularly interested in services for the construction of new lines and the installation of street lighting fixtures.
Specialists of Tambovenergo proposed the heads to conclude agreements which provide for the construction and upgrade of outdoor lighting networks, outdoor lighting systems maintenance, replacement of faulty equipment, and implementation of energy efficient technologies based on an energy service contract.
In 2012, employees of Tambovenergo were installing municipal street lighting of municipalities of Inzhavinsky district of the Tambov region, and contracts were also signed with heads of Kaluginsky and Karavainsky village councils, and Inzhavinsky settlement council.
Currently Tambov power engineers have signed contracts for the construction of four kilometres of power lines of outdoor lighting networks and installation of lighting fixtures for Kaluginsky village council, two and a half kilometres of power lines of outdoor lighting networks and 23 lighting fixtures for Inzhavinsky settlement council. During the meeting, a request was taken from the head of Kaluginsky village council to install fixtures and additional 1.5 km of power lines.
«New lighting fixtures in the streets are installed not only for aesthetics and convenience of villagers. Thanks to the presence of street lighting on roads and pavements the number of road accidents and domestic traumas decreases, and the level of social security of citizens increases,» stressed the head of customer interactions Office of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division Alexander Demin.
