Smolenskenergo summed up the implementation of the work plan for metrological provision

Over the past year IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division check 2893 units of working measuring instruments, including 238 meters of electric energy, 747 current transformers and 47 voltage transformers. 1770 measuring instruments were calibrated and repaired.

In October the metrological service of the branch was tested for the purpose of accreditation to perform calibrations. After the test, a certificate of accreditation was issued.

Specialists of the section also performed 363 measurements of electric energy quality at the main substations and 705 measurements at control points. Staff of the branch use power quality monitoring devices of type QNA-412 and «Break-KE» and «Energotester-PKE». These devices allow to perform measurements of key indicators of electric energy and to assess their compliance with the standards set.

Electric energy quality was checking against 1410 complaints from the public, measures to bring the power quality in accordance with GOST were developed and fully implemented.

This work is the key to ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment of the power system.
