In order to improve the reliability of power grids 2944 defective power pole were replaced, 352 switches and 537 transformer substations were repaired. Clearing and expansion of 2379 hectares of ROWs along conductors was performed to prevent outages of overhead lines due to the overlap of their shoots and trees falling on power lines conducted.
0.4-10 kV cable lines, relay-protection and automation devices, motor vehicles involved in the repair and maintenance work, and control and supervision facilities were also repaired.
According to the head of analysis and production management of the branch Dmitry Tkachenko, the main purpose of the repair is to ensure reliable power supply. «Timely repair equipment allows power engineers to minimize unplanned outages in the autumn-winter peak load operation period,» added Dmitry Tkachenko.
