Tambovenergo has approved its maintenance campaign-2013

In the past few years IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division has observed regular increase in funding its repair activities. In 2013, the branch plans to spend 121.7 million rubles on the implementation of the maintenance program, which is by 14.6 million rubles more than last year. One of the most important and socially significant power facilities of the maintenance program in 2013 include the substation (SS) 110/10 kV «Ilovayskaya», as well as the high-voltage lines of 110 kV «Morshanskaya-1», «Kirsanovskaya-1» and the Conductor 35 kV «Kamenskaya».

Reconstruction activities in the region will be aimed primarily at improving the reliability of production enterprises, facilities of the agrarian sector, residential premises, schools, kindergartens and other infrastructure facilities. Overall, in 2013, a lot of repair work has been planned. Tambov power engineers of IDGC of Centre will repair more than a thousand kilometres of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV, 102 transformer substations and perform comprehensive repair of four substations of 35-110 kV.

IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division will pay special attention to clearing ROWs along power lines off trees and shrubs for the prevention of unplanned outages. In 2013, IDGC of Centre’s specialists in the Tambov region plan to clear over 360 hectares of ROWs along power lines, and to expand 183 hectares of ROWs.

During the modernization of facilities of the branches in IDGC of Centre obsolete oil switches are replaced with modern vacuum, and for construction and reconstruction of electricity networks self-supporting insulated wire is used more and more. Its use will allow to reduce losses and increase reliability of power supply to consumers.

Good-quality repair campaign allows to reduce the possibility of failures in the autumn-winter peak loads and improve the reliability of electricity supply in the cold season,» — stressed Deputy Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
