Colleagues from Pskov thank Yaroslavl power engineers

The management of IDGC of North-West — Pskovenergo thanked staff of Yarenergo for their help in the elimination of the aftermath of the “freezing rains” in the Pskov region. A letter of thanks was received in the name of Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division director Igor Solonikov.

The temperature changes, heavy snowfall and strong winds caused massive power outages in the Pskov region. In the aftermath of elements power engineers of Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre — cews of Tutaevsky and Rybinsky Distribution Zones were actively involved in the elimination of the aftermath of the weather conditions.

Eight employees of Yarenergo and two vehicles worked in the village of Ratkovo for six days. In total the Yaroslavl crews pulled 12.46 km of wire, replaced 45 insulators and 12 traverse beams, and repaired two line disconnecting switches. They also removed more than 700 trees, threatening to fall on wires, inspected 126 km of power lines and installed two reinforced concrete poles.

The joint work of the staff of Pskovenergo and Yarenergo was further evidence of friendly cooperation between the enterprises, once again convincingly demonstrated that solidarity, readiness to help, efficiency and indifference — it’s not just words for real professionals,”- stressed in the letter Deputy General Director of IDGC of North-West — Pskovenergo director Alexander Timofeev.
