Smolenskenergo reminds of the order of information support of the population on technological violations

IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division solves the problem of providing the population with information on technological violations in the power system under the current legislation and regulatory requirements of the Ministry of Energy. For the purpose of immediate performance of repair and restoration work in the event of a power outage related to failures of electrical equipment, consumers and municipal authorities need to contact via the Direct Power Hot Line at 8-800-50-50-115 (free calling from any phone in Russia).

Please, be reminded that since February 2012 the automatic transfer of all calls from operators of Distribution Zones has been made to the single Contact Centre (Direct Power Hot Line at 8-800-50-50-115). The Contact Centre operates around the clock and at the same time can take several dozens of calls.

Heads of the district municipalities are regularly sent information letters about all the changes and the availability of the single toll-free number of power engineers in order to bring this information to the public. It focuses on the fact that now consumers do not need to call the operator — calls are received by the single phone number that works around the clock.

In cases of major technological failures and accidents in the electric grid of the branch, which resulted in mass power outages, in order to ensure effective communication with customers in the Distribution Zones of Smolenskenergo temporary information centres (TICs) are deployed. Their activities are aimed at achieving the objectives of the branch to ensure customer satisfaction by informing them of the progress of emergency and restoration operations in the event of major technological failures and accidents in the electric grid of the branch.

The main objectives and functions of the TICs are to prepare messages for consumers on the basis of operational data from the operator of the Distribution Zone, to inform heads of municipalities and certain categories of consumers on the progress of elimination of process failures and the estimated time of the power supply restoration, receipt and processing of applications, recording and registration of information, transmission of received from consumers information about emergency and accidents to the operator of the Distribution Zone, interaction with the operators of the Contact Centre regarding the exchange of information on the progress of emergency and restoration operations.

“There are already seven agreements signed on cooperation and transfer of operational information at complex technological violations in the power grid between Smolenskenergo and Office of Civil Defense and Emergency in municipalities of Vyazemsky, Safonovsky, Smolensky, Roslavlsky, Khislavichsky, Pochinkovsky districts and the city of Smolensk. It is expected to sign agreements with other districts,”- said the head of the mobilization and civil defense Taras Yukhimenko.

IDGC of Centre — a customer-centric company, which makes every effort for the convenience of the consumer and solution of his or her issues in the shortest possible time.
