Tambovenergo completed the repair of the substation "Staroyurevskaya"

As part of the repair program in 2012 specialists of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division implemented a comprehensive overhaul of the 110/35/10 kV substation “Staroyurevskaya”, which is the main supply centre of Staroyurevsky district in the Tambov region.

Tambov power engineers repaired two power transformers of 110 kV, bus sections of 110, 35, 10 kV, circuit breakers of 10-35 kV, and the power equipment with service life limit was replaced. Oil receivers were repaired, fencing was replaced, and metal structures were painted. The specialists also performed activities on landscaping the substation’s premises.

“This year, nearly two million rubles were spent on the repair of the facility. The 110/35/10 kV substation ‘Staroyurevskaya’ was commissioned in 1971 and is an important source of power supply, which feeds seventeen and a half thousand people living in 56 settlements of the Tambov region, and infrastructure facilities,”- underlined Deputy Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.

The overhaul will allow to minimize the possibility of failures at low temperatures, increases the quality of power supply to customers.
