Kursk rescuers thanked Kurskenergo for operational cooperation in the aftermath of an accident

At a meeting on summarizing the work of operational emergency department Acting Chief of General Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Kursk Region Vladimir Belozerov thanked Kurskenergo for operational cooperation in the elimination of a serious accident in the regional centre.

On the outskirts of Kursk a fuel truck overturned. In the tank at the time of the accident there were about thirty tons of petrol. The fuel started dispensing.

To exclude the occurrence of an emergency, to minimize damage to nature, it was necessary to quickly put the fuel truck on its wheels. It was done with a powerful 50-ton truck-mounted crane, which was quickly delivered by power engineers of IDGC of Centre to the rescuers.

Working in close contact with the rescuers, specialists of Kurskenergo provide reliable electricity supply and safe living conditions of Kursk residents.
