By Decrees of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, several employees of IDGC of Centre were awarded state rewards. In particular for services in the field of energy and many years of hard work the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Chief of Eastern section of the power lines service of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division Yury Lupin.
Yury — a hereditary power engineer.
— My parents worked for more than 35 years at Konakovo GRES power plant (it’s in the Tver region), and from childhood instilled the love of power engineering in me, — he says.
Yury has been working at Orelenergo since 1989. He has proven to be a highly skilled and motivated, proactive organizer of production.
Under Yury Lupin’s supervision a number of major renovations of electrical networks of 35 kV was implemented, considerable work was done to improve the reliability of power supply for customers in 7 districts of the Orel region.
It is worth noting that the crew of Yury serves Livny district — one of the largest and most energy intensive in the region.
When emergency situations caused by natural disasters, Yury Lupin quickly makes the best decisions and ably supervises fault elimination. In this case, during his time of work the number of outages on power lines decreased by 12%.
Under his leadership, an emergency and restoration crew was formed and staffed, which participated actively in the elimination of the consequences of an accident in the Moscow region, caused by freezing rain in December 2010 — January 2011.
With his decency and kindness, diligence, responsibility and sincere concern for people Yur Lupin earned deserved authority in the team. According to colleagues, creating a highly cohesive professional team that is able to solve any problems can be called the manager’s credit.
Yury Lupin is already the second employee of Orelenergo, awarded this year’s state award. Previously the decree was signed to award the title of “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” Electrical fitter for repair electrical equipment switchgear Yury Potemov.
