Employees of Bryanskenergo competed in driving skills

IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division hosted the annual review — competition of professional skills among car drivers of “UAZ” make. It was held on the site of the western section of mechanization and transportation Service of the branch, located in the city of Klintsy.

The participants of the review-competition had three stages. The first was — “Test Your Knowledge”. Drivers on the computer were tested with questions on the rules of the road traffic. 20 minutes were given to complete the task (20 questions).

The second stage — “First aid to a victim with electric shock” using a dummy simulator “Gosha”. At the command of the judge a stopwatch was started, and a participant got down to providing intensive care. Completion time of the resuscitation was considered a report on the “revival” of the victim (the presence of the pulse at the carotid artery). The participants of the competition had to revive the “victim” for no more than 4 minutes.

The third stage — “Checking the practical driving skills” — was held at the training ground. The task of the participants was to pass a given distance in the shortest time with the least amount of penalty points and mandatory compliance with all prescribed exercises, “Dimensional Corridor”, “Circling”, “Snake”, “Drive into a pit”, “Stubs”, “Stop”, and “Scaffolding”.

After going through all three stages the judicial commission, which included employees of the branch and Chairman of the local trade union organization of Bryanskenergo Sergey Voznesensky, having counted the number of points scored by the participants, revealed the winners of the competitions. According to the results of the review-competition the first place was won by Yury Semenok — Driver of the western section of mechanization and transportation Service, second — Driver of the central section of mechanization and transportation Service Dmitry Grishin, and third — Electrician of first responding mobile crew of operational substation maintenance group Vladimir Shepelenko.

The participants, who took the prizes, were awarded valuable gifts. Sergey Ananchenko, who won the stage “First aid to a victim with electric shock” was distinguished separately. Chairman of the primary trade union organization of Bryanskenergo Sergey Voznesensky gave him a special prize.
