The total investment of Yarenergo in 2012 will amount to 1.5 billion rubles


For January-July this year, the implementation of the investment program of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division totalled 644.4 million rubles. This amount is 161 percent of the planned seven months’ investment performance.

The main directions of the investment activities of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division are the construction and reconstruction of power facilities. In 2012, Yaroslavl power engineers will allocate 905.8 million rubles for the construction of new power facilities, 607 million rubles — for the renovation and modernization of existing power facilities and 9 million rubles — for the purchase of fixed assets.

In preparation for the upcoming autumn and winter period experts of Yarenergo are doing big work to improve the reliability of the electric grid and develop it in the Yaroslavl region. In 2012, power engineers will invest 561 million rubles in reconstruction, modernization and construction of new feeding centers Substation 110/10 kV “Bragino”, Substation 110/35/6 kV “Volga RPO”, Substations 110 kV “Institutskaya”, “Pereslavl”, “Shestikhino”, “Uglich”, “Rostov” and other substations.

One of the most significant investment projects in 2012 is the construction of the substation 110/10/10 kV “Novoselki” — a modern feeding center, which will provide electricity to the city’s industries and create a substantial reserve capacity to connect customers.

In 2012 it is planned to spend 739.7 million rubles on the construction and reconstruction of power lines within the grid connection and reliability improvement of social facilities if the Yaroslavl region.

In addition, in 2012 it was planned to retrofit motor and special vehicles, to commission an office building, to implement an automated electricity metering system. Part of the funds will be spent on the development of communication and operational and technical management systems. Through clear communication between the branch offices and the creation of a single information space the time to eliminate failures will be reduced. This is especially important in the winter period when the power system in the region experiences the highest loads and the operation of infrastructure facilities depends on efficiency of power engineers.
