Kurskenergo completed the overhaul of the substation "Rylsk"

Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division completed a comprehensive overhaul of 110 kV “Rylsk”. Substation for reliability and quality of power supply in Rylsky, Glushkovsky and Korenevsky districts of the Kursk region, as well as the transit of electricity to the Ukraine.

In preparation of the electric grid facilities for the upcoming autumn-winter load employees of Kurskenergo made a permanent repair of the two power transformers installed capacity of 25,000 and 16,000 kVA, renovated eight 110 kV high voltage circuit breakers and eight 35 kV switches. They replaced worn parts and adjust all high voltage 110-35-10 kV disconnectors.

Along with the repair of the equipment, its painting was completed, operators’ names were restored, and reinforced concrete structures and side fences of oil receivers of power transformers were repaired.

The quality of full repair at each stage was controlled by Heads of substations service of high-voltage grid Office of Kurskenergo. Provisional acceptance acts were made and terms of elimination of the identified deficiencies were outlined.

Deputy Head of Rylsky district authorities Pavel Kolousov highly appreciated the work done: “We are grateful to the power engineers of IDGC of Centre for the overhaul performed on time, and in the autumn-winter period reliable power supply to consumers will be provided, including industrial enterprises, social institutions and the housing sector.”
