IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo became the winner of the regional round of the All-Russian contest “Russian organization of high social responsibility”. For prizes in three categories power engineers were awarded diplomas signed by the Governor of the Yaroslavl region.
The branch received victory in the nomination “For the promotion of healthy lifestyles in the organization” thanks to its sports events, which are regularly held in Yarenergo. Power engineers annually participate in corporate and inter-industry track-and-field events, football, volleyball, tennis, swimming and other sports. The union helps with the organization of country visits, tourist meetings, and family events for employees of the branch. All are aimed at promoting active recreation and healthy living.
Another prize went to the power engineers in the nomination “For the development of human resources in the organizations of the production sector”. The branch does a lot to improve the skill level primarily of working specialties, to attract young professionals, and to develop staff. 90 people are included in the talent pool of young professionals. Ten of them are recommended for enrollment in the reserve of IDGC of Centre. Four candidates took part in qualifying events for the formation of personnel reserve “Young support of IDGC Holding”. Tasks for the selection, evaluation, motivation, encouragement and training of staff are resolved on the basis of a holistic view of development of the enterprise. In this case, most importantly, what should guide every employee of the organization, regardless of his or her obligations — it is respect for the interests of the organization.
Yarenergo also took first place in the nomination “For participation in the solution of social problems of the territories and the development of charity”. Organizers mentioned all possible help that the branch provided to orphanages in the Yaroslavl region. Power engineers regularly come to the children with creative actions, organize costumed performances. This activity is supported by the trade union and the Council to work with the youth of the branch.
