Together with the residents of Kursk the power engineers came to the memorial to the fallen in the Great Patriotic War, where they laid flowers at the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Stepan Perekalsky. 322nd Infantry Division of the Voronezh Front under his command first entered the city of Kursk in February 1943 and completely released it. We, the youth of Kurskenergo, try to hold as many as possible activities dedicated to the events of the war years and the heroic deeds of our ancestors. For us it is an opportunity to pay tribute to the heroes of the war. We are obliged with our affairs, actions and daily work to be worthy of the memory of great ancestors”, — stressed Chairman of the Youth Council of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division Yury Piskun.

IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division pays tribute to veterans in the historical memorial campaign “Relay of Victory Banner”, which is held the third consecutive year in all distribution grid companies of IDGC Holding. Within the campaign Kursk power engineers visit museums, memorial sites of battles, monuments and memorials dedicated to the heroes and events of the Great Patriotic War.
