More than 95 students of the second, third and fourth years of the Chair “Power Supply” and the Faculty of Innovation and Management of Southwestern State University (YUZGU) are passing their educational and practical training this summer at Kurskenergo.

The practice of the future power engineers is a part of the Agreement between IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division and Southwestern State University. Under the supervision of experienced mentors after the mandatory instruction on safety trainees attend the existing power facilities, view instructional videos, learn the history, the present day and future of the Kursk power grid.

In the Grid Control Center (GCC) of Kurskenergo novice power engineers got acquainted with the operational and technical management system of Kurskenergo and in Kursk District of Electrical Networks (DEN) they practiced in the right paperwork processing in the department of marketing and value added services.

They are involved in the working process, getting the most useful in their future work experience. On the other hand, organizing industrial practice, we can evaluate the qualifications of potential employees for the formation of the personnel reserve ‘Young support’ — a large-scale project of IDGC Holding, aimed at creating additional opportunities for effective career growth and professional development of young generation of power engineers”.
