One of the priorities of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division within the preparation for next autumn-winter period is the creation of an emergency reserve. As of August 1, 2012 the emergency reserve of Tambovenergo is stocked at 99% of the regulatory requirements, including the centralized emergency reserve of IDGC of Centre — 100%.

Emergency provision of materials and equipment is a reserve of tangible assets, which are required to ensure availability and reliability of power equipment for emergency response, as well as for rapid replacement of equipment at power grid facilities rejected based on the results of tests or preventive diagnostics.

The formation of an emergency reserve is an important condition for obtaining the company’s certificate of readiness for the autumn-winter peak loads. Thanks to its availability power engineers can minimize the time of the restoration work on the lines and substations in the conditions of force majeure with mass outages of consumers.

The volume of the emergency reserve of Tambovenergo in monetary terms is in total 62.93 million rubles. In 2012, it is planned to buy equipment and supplies in the amount of 4.6 million rubles for making and renewing the emergency reserve.

In accordance with the approved standards, the range of emergency reserve of Tambovenergo includes 409 items. This is wire and insulators of different brands, reinforced racks, power and instrument transformers and circuit breakers. In case of emergency, the branch also has in reserve transformer oil, spare parts of switching devices, couplings and fittings, low voltage equipment, relay protection and automation equipment and others.

By the time of receiving the certificate of readiness for the autumn and winter peak load operation it is expected to complement the emergency reserve of the branch at 100%.
