Orel power engineers laid flowers in memory of the defenders of the land of Orel

Staff of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division gathered for a meeting of Memory, held August 3 on the eve of the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Orel from the Nazi invaders in the city park of Tankers to express their appreciation to veterans and fallen soldiers.

Power engineers put a basket of flowers to the Eternal Flame and observed a minute’s silence in memory of the soldiers who committed their immortal feat of giving life for peace in the land of Orel.

— On the eve of the holiday one wants one more time with all his heart to thank our distinguished veterans who did not spare their own lives to defend our hometown — said Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division director Alexander Letyagin.
