Power engineer of IDGC of Centre - Member of the Russian Championship in weight lifting

Specialist of property management and consolidation of power grid assets Office of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Yury Lukyanchikov took part in the Championship of Russia on weight lifting. In the weight category up to 95 kilograms he showed one of the highest results in the relay at the push off of a long cycle.

Championship of Russia on weight-lifting, which was attended by more than twenty teams from different regions of Russia, was held in June in the city of Orenburg. The competition consisted of two stages - a push off of a long cycle in the individual event and relay. In the relay in his weight category the employee of the branch performed 34 lifts for three minutes. This is the highest result in this type of program in the weight category up to 95 kilograms. As a result, the team of the Bryansk region, having showed a total of 164 lifts, took the second place, behind only the weightlifters from St. Petersburg.

This is not the first high level competitions in which Mr. Lukyanchikov participated and showed good results. The employee of Bryanskenergo is a quadruple medalist of Russia in weight lifting in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011, winner of the Cup of Russia on weight lifting in 2010, he won the Championship of Europe on weight lifting in 2008, and winner of the European Cup in 2011.

Now the employee of the branch is preparing for the Cup of Russia on weight lifting among men and women to be held in September in the city of Anapa.
