Competitions in the professional skills were held in Tambovenergo

Competitions in the professional skills among crews of diagnostics service were held in IDGC of Centre –Tambovenergo division for the first time. The winner of the honorary title of "Best diagnostics crew in 2012" was the team of Kirsanovsky section of the diagnostics service of the branch. The second and third places on the podium were shared by the crews of Morshansky and Zherdevsky sections.

Participants of the contest had to demonstrate mastery, doing the job as close to real conditions of work: testing a stand-alone 110 kV transformer entrance bushing, testing a utility transformer (training) at a substation, fault location of a 10 kV cable line, ground loop measuring at the "Training" substation, determining the resistance of the loop "phase - zero", computer testing for knowledge of regulatory documents, as well as first aid to an electric shock victim. The panel of judges evaluated both the theoretical knowledge of the participants and their ability to take rapid decisions in complex production situations.

"In the course of these events practical skills of work performance was worked out, which the diagnostics crews execute daily during their professional activities, - mentioned the manager of the training centre of IDGC of Centre –Tambovenergo division Alexey Cherenkov. — Special attention is given to simulate emergencies, especially when assisting a victim with electric shock".

As a result of the competitions the judging panel decided per the sum of points to give the first place to the team of Kirsanovsky section of the diagnostics service with awarding Certificates of Merit and prizes to each crew member. During the event the title of the best engineer of the diagnostics service was awarded to Engineer of Kirsanovsky team Pavel Ignatov. Valeriy Soldatov became the best electrician for testing and measurement deservedly.

"Our team just did our job smoothly, and the result turned out to be a little better than the others, - says Pavel Ignatov. - For example, we had a stage to determine the fault location on the cable. There, we used some new devices, which we had not ever used in our everyday work. During the competitions every man for himself learned something new. Now we will prepare with a special responsibility for competitions of the diagnostics services of IDGC of Centre.
